Community Commitment

Giving Back - Our Community Commitment

Something Golden is committed to reinvesting in the community that supports us. Our focus is simple: Kids. Youth. Families

We prioritize opportunities that support youth development, strengthen families, build meaningful local partnerships, increase positive community visibility, and reinforce our role as a trusted local business. We believe giving back should create meaningful impact — not just transactions — and this community commitment ensures we do so responsibly, strategically, and consistently.

We are proud to be: Local, Family Focused and Community Driven

Our Primary Focus Areas

We prioritize requests that directly benefit:

  • Local schools (elementary, middle, junior high, and high school)
  • Youth sports teams & leagues
  • Children’s charities & wellness initiatives
  • Community safety (Fire, Police, EMS)
  • City of Spruce Grove, Stony Plain & Parkland County initiatives
  • Family-focused community events
  • Recognized local non-profits
  • Requests outside these focus areas will be considered lower priority.

Geographic Priority

We support organizations located within:

  • Spruce Grove
  • Stony Plain
  • Parkland County
  • West Edmonton (La Perle, Taralosa and Summerlea Neighbourhoods, as well as Morn, Wilson and Stone Industrial Areas)

What We Typically Donate

We consider all contribution requests individually, and support is not guaranteed each year. Requests that fall outside our usual giving are reviewed carefully — if yours isn’t listed, reach out to see if it aligns with the community initiatives we are able to support
